Dogeball
Following another successful dodgeball clan activity, the John Paul Crew were this years Clan Champion. While the folks from Clydebank put in a good show, the boys from John Paul were the stronger side winning all three matches without losing one of their players. Well done to all those who participated and we hope that all will enjoy the Softball and will welcome East Wood High School into the Clan Activities!

Tennis 2010
We had a surprise Champion in 2010. The four semifinalist were Jonnie (the 2009 Champ), Darrel (previously undefeated in the one other friendly match he participated in), Richard (one of the most consistent players we have) and Cameron (who has developed well this past year). With Jonnie beating Darrel and Cameron beating Richard a great final ensued. The match went down to the wire with each winning two points. The final score put Cameron on the champion board delivered with a bad bounce. Despite Cameron desire to play the point again, he had won fairly and was crowned the 2010 Spring Arran Clan Tennis Champion!
Softball
We are please to say that we had a fantastic softball session this year. Possil enjoyed their trips winning at Barrhead but lossing to Giffnock. Barrhead also had a great time hosting Possil and travelling over to Giffnock. The winners of the 2010 shield was the folks at Woodfarm (Giffnock:- as shown in the photo above) that had a fantastic season!
Well done to all who participated!
Cameron Wins Again
Today we had our tennis Final and Cameron was the surprise Winner. He bet out Richard in the SemiFinals. Jonnie (the defending champ) betting Darrel (the 2008 champ) in the Semi Finals. So in the Final, Jonnie put in an excellent effort. Cameron was very grateful and was willing to re-do the winning shot due to a poor bounce even though they each had two point going into the final (they had to have three to win). But the game was called and Cameron is the 2010 Arran Clan Spring Tennis Champion!
